See it, Believe it Event
This Tuesday I attended the National CLT Network’s See it, Believe it event at Stretham and Wilburton CLT.
The purpose of the event was to show what SWCLT had achieved at their Manor Farm development, and they have achieved a lot. They are just completing phase two and eventually they will have 25 affordable homes in their development of 75.
There were also attendees from CLTs across the country. It was great to hear about their experiences in setting up, finding projects and carrying them out.

East Cambs
The day included talks on funding and partnering but also on the positive experience of East Cambs District Council and the efforts that they have been putting in to support CLTs in the region. There are at least 10 CLTs formed in the area now.
Tom taking the See It and Believe It group through funding options for each stage of the CLT development process. This includes crowdfunding - a great way to reach out and find wider community support! Read some more about funding options on our website https://t.co/LqCIGAbItP pic.twitter.com/AjC7WFL6hL

Having heard how ambitious Charles Roberts and John Hill of East Cambs are and what they have set up with Palace Green Homes, I really want to see what we could achieve with a CLT for Waterbeach.
